Vedic Mathematics is a comprehensive system of mathematical knowledge rooted in ancient India, particularly within the revered texts known as the Vedas. These sacred scriptures of Hinduism embody a rich tradition of wisdom and understanding, from which the principles of Vedic Mathematics are derived. This unique system includes various techniques and sutras that enable quicker calculations and problem-solving, making it a valuable resource for students, educators, and math enthusiasts alike.
Goal::Enhance numerical speed, delve into the principles of Vedic sutras, and refine foundational mathematical tricks.
1: Ekadhikena Purvena
"Ekādhikena Pūrvena" (एकाधिकेन पूर्वेण) is a famous Sanskrit sutra (mathematical aphorism) from Vedic Mathematics, found in the Śulba Sūtras and later popularized by Sri Bharati Krishna Tirthaji.
Meaning :
"By one more than the previous one."
(“Eka” = one, “Adhika” = more, “Pūrva” = previous)
2: Nikhilam Sutram
Sanskrit: Nikhilam Navataścaramam Daśataḥ
